Get Away Stink!!! The Fight Between Nose and Toes

  “Madam Head, Madam Head,” called the always talkative Miss Mouthy.  “We have a big problem, and you need to find a solution!”
“What happened, Miss Mouthy?” responded Madam Head patiently, who always had to find a solution for each big problem.
“It is Nase, I mean Mr. Nose, he got into a fight with Mr. Fivetoes!”
“With the right or the left one?”
“With both of them, Madam Head!”
“How come, with both of them? What was it about?”
“Nase said that he could not stand the stink of Mr. Fivetoes anymore. Then Mr. Fivetoes got offended and said that he would not take Mr. Nose anywhere anymore. But if he doesn’t take Mr. Nose… we can’t go anywhere either!”
“True, Miss Mouthy. This is a BIG problem!”
“And you need to find a solution!”
After Miss Mouthy’s report, Madam Head started to think about how to solve the issue. First of all, she talked to Mr. Ear, who always listens to you. After explaining the situation, she asked him, “So, Mr. Ear, what do you think we can do?”
“Hummmmm.”
“So, Mr. Ear?”
“Hummmm... See, I hear and understand, it really is a big problem.  I am a good listener, but was never good at finding solutions. I don’t know how to help you in this stressful moment.”
After a little more thinking, Madam Head agreed and went to find others that might help her in this matter.
She found the twins Right Eye and Left Eye on the way.
Even before Madam Head told them again about the fight, they answered together in unison, “We saw all that happened and because we are close to him, we support Nase, or Mr. Nose. After all, he is the one that smells the stink. But we also know that without Mr. Fivetoes, we can’t go anywhere. So, we’d like to sit aside and refrain from stating an opinion.”
“I understand,” said Madam Head and she kept going, still trying to figure out the problem.
All of a sudden, she had a brilliant idea; she talked first with the skillful Hand sisters and then called everybody interested to a meeting.
As expected, all the body members attended the meeting, and Madam Head took the floor, “Fellow companions of my whole life, I had learned about what happened between Mr. Nose and Mr. Fivetoes, and agreeing with them both, actually with all three of them, that each one of them makes a good point, I feel I have a solution that might please us all.”
Before she could continue, Mr. Fivetoes yelled, “I don’t want a solution, I want to be as far as I can from the rude Mr. Nose!”
“And I don’t want to feel that stinky smell!!” responded Nase.
“Calm down, calm down…” Miss Mouthy intervened.
 “Gentlemen,” continued Madam Head, “this quarrel of yours harms us all in this body. We cannot and do not want to live without the others – without Mr. Nose we cannot breathe or smell anything, without Mr. Fivetoes we cannot go anywhere.”
“Or walk, run, jump…” said Mr. Fivetoes, the right one.
“Or score goals!” concluded Mr. Fivertoes, the left one.
“But without breathing no one can do anything!” said Mr. Nose with disdain.
“Hence we need a solution for everybody!” Madam Head interrupted vigorously.
“And that will be…?” Miss Mouthy asked.
 “Look, thinking together with the Hand sisters, we decided on the following: Any moment that Mr. Nose gives the alert of the stink, the left Hand sister will meet him and close his nostrils, while the right Hand sister executes a good washing procedure with Mr. Fivetoes, both of them, to clean away the bad smell. And, of course, Miss Mouthy, you will help with the breathing while the washing lasts. The Right Eye and Left Eye twins will oversee the operation. If everybody helps and acts in a coordinated way, we will soon solve this problem. What do you think?”
There was a three-and-a-half-second silence that seemed an eternity.
“Well… a bath with a perfumed soap is not bad at all,” said Mr. Fivetoes, the Right, breaking the silence.
“It is important to dry us well, too,” said Mr. Fivetoes, the Left.
“Don’t squeeze me too hard when closing my nostrils,” grumbled Mr. Nose.
And everybody cheered and applauded the solution to the big problem.
Even Mr. And Mrs. Ear, usually cautious, showed their approval by swinging the earlobes.
“You got it again, Madam Head, now, we are all happy!!” said Miss Mouthy.
“Let’s party, then!! Djs, be ready!!” Miss Head, excited, called.
The Hand sisters took over the sound and everybody sang and danced altogether to the hit song, loved by all:
“Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,
 Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,
Eyes, Ears, Mouth and Nose,
Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes!!”
